St. Martin's Field Trips
Field trips enhance student learning experiences and reinforce concepts taught in class. Parents/guardians must sign and return an official school consent form before a student is allowed to participate in an activity away from the school. St. Martin's Code of Conduct remains in effect during school-sponsored trips. Field trips are important educational experiences and at no time should a student be denied that experience due to financial difficulties. Please contact the Principal if this is a concern.
Past school-wide trips have included: skating at the Ennismore Community Centre; curling at the Ennismore Curling Club; horse and sleigh ride for entire school and Peterborough Petes Night. Students may go on the following excursions throughout the school year to support their curriculum: Ganaraska Forest; Peterborough Zoo, Showplace to experience theatre; Pumpkin Patch; Lang Pioneer Village, Curvelake PowWow and Camp Kawartha.
